Retrospective

1965
		Josefine and Anton Gschwentner, Sr. found the 25-bed guesthouse Schwarzbrunn in their hometown of Stans bei Schwaz.
1989
		Transfer of the guesthouse (in the meantime 90 beds) to the younger generation; the brothers Anton und Helmut Gschwentner establish Anton Gschwentner GmbH and the travel agency Tirol Hotels; Christine Gschwentner takes over the management of the guesthouse.
1990
		Expanded to include a hotel bar, underground garage, an indoor swimming pool, as well as a sauna-landscape (Schwarzbrunnquelle); addition of 22 rooms of the categories Studio Schloss Ambras, Studio Schloss Tratzberg and Studio St. Georg; the Hotel Schwarzbrunn receives the category of 4 stars.
1997
		The neighboring guesthouse and inn, Zum Marschall, is purchased and shortly afterwards leased.
1999
		A connection between the hotel and the guesthouse, Zum Marschall, is built; its construction adds 10 suites and 5 rooms of the categories Studio St. Georg and Studio Schloss Ambras to the hotel.
2000
		Renovation and enlargement of the Schwarzbrunnquelle sauna landscape; opening of the 850 m2 Paradise World fitness studio as well as Christine’s World of Beauty, Hohenauer hair salon, and in-house ski rental with ski school office; birth of the Wellness Hotel Schwarzbrunn (newly categorized).
2001
		A renovation of the accommodations of the Zum Marschall guesthouse adds an additional 20 rooms in the category of Studio Romantik to the hotel.
2002
		Opening of the souvenir store, Christine’s World of Presents; Acquisition of the leased former inn, renamed Gasthof Marschall. Enlargement of the hotel’s main hall; opening of the new hotel reception with Feng Shui area; the Wellness Hotel Schwarzbrunn now offers a total of 111 rooms.
2004
		Opening of the Business Center, in which the Tourism Association is also located.
2006
		53 rooms and the Baroque Hall have been renovated to the latest standards. The hotel lobby has been completely redone with new carpets, new, modern furnishings and new curtains. 11 new rooms offer a special experience: some are even equipped with steam baths and Jacuzzis.
